I’m Sarah and I’m lead photographer at Netti Studios.

Born and raised in Edinburgh, I developed a passion for photography early on and studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee and the London Institute of Photography. I’ve been working as a professional photographer since 2017 with a focus on portraiture, brand development, and child and family photography.

Alongside my creative work, I’ve worked as a nanny and built up a wealth of experience in caring for children. These skills transfer perfectly into working with children on one-on-one photoshoots as I’m able to build trust and rapport with them and understand their needs when it comes to photography. I also like to make sure that a shoot with me is as fun as possible!

Taking a snapshot in time, capturing a milestone – this type of photography is my passion because it creates a permanent memento of a natural moment. Parents and family members will know just how quickly children grow, so it’s a real privilege to be able to be with them in that moment and then share that with their loved ones. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, I’m often asked to come back year after year by clients so that I can document their little ones as they grow up!
